Choose what works for you.
- Make it interesting.
- Plan studying time and stick to the plan.
- Take minimum 5-10 minute breaks every hour of studying.
- Do physical exercises while on break.
- Get enough sleep.
- Choose good place to study. Sometime it’s good not to study at home. Library, coffee house etc. can be much better.
- Turn off the TV.
- Turn off the music. Or at least listen to music without words.
- Reconsider coffee. Can boost for a while, but then it becomes worse.
- Learn important first, and later go for details.
- Use highlighter.
- Read books. Studying from bullet points is not enough.
- Try to read more efficiently. See more in Study Reading part.
- Explain material to someone else. This will improve your memorization.
- Use Flashcards.
- "Repetition is the mother of skill."
- Use glossary in the books and understand the terms.
- Use Wikipedia. First paragraph (or even first sentence) gives a lot of summary information.
- Watch Youtube educational videos. There are great tutorials and even whole lessons.
- Block Social Networking, like Facebook.
- You can try study in groups.
- Visualize.
- Have job environment on your mind while studying.

- Make use of explanatory dictionary, even if you are English native speaker.
- Understanding is better than remembering.
- Don’t procrastinate.
- Study under slightly colder conditions and fresh air.
